Q: Is this an accredited course?

WONS is accredited as an NZQA training organisation. The health updates are not on the NZQA frame work however you may utilise your WONS certificate for your practice portfolio.

Q: How long is each course and how many hours can I claim for my portfolio

Each course provides 2.5 hours of clinical training. This is on your certificate.

Q: How many questions do I have to have correct before I am able to have a certificate?

You must answer all 10 questions correctly. There is no limit on resits. You may down load any of the documents as it is open book. You will not be told which question you fail.

Q: Can I claim CME points?

WONS is currently working towards accessing CME points for each course. Currently you are required to have a two yearly update in order to be a cervical smear taker.

Q. What do I need in order to view the course materials?

All course materials are provide in Adobe's PDF format, as these are viewable on most computers. If your computer cannot view PDF files, the Adobe Reader program is free and can be downloaded by clicking the button below.
