Well Women & Family Trust want to increase the capacity of high priority communities to empower women. This occurs through:

Sisters in Health Training

This is a 4 hour community course on cervical and breast screening for key community women. A 'free' course; this enables communities to support their women to have regular cervical smears and breast screening.

Community Engagement

Well Women & Family Trust, thanks to generous donations from funding organisations, funds communities to engage their women with cervical screening. Women must meet the government set criteria for funding of "free" smears.

Short Course in Community Women's Health Promotion

Thanks to the Guardian Trust, Well Women & Family Trust offers a 'free' 12 week course on a range of topics in women’s health promotion and empowerment. Participants must make a commitment of attending the course once a week for 12 weeks, childcare and meals are provided during the course. Currently we have funding for unemployed women with the aim of putting them on a journey towards future employment.
